[video] memory lane virus #2

[It's the rest of the first-person POV memory with the lifeguard, broken to start just before he takes off his shirt.

When he does, there's a focus on toned abs before they're sliding underwater, and Ryan laughs. "I'm not going to drown, c'mon." But it doesn't matter because they're now floating on the water together, laughing about something that goes unmentioned in the video. Everything gets fuzzy for a moment, just a little out of focus, and Ryan climbs out of the water, sitting on the edge of the pool with his feet in the water.

The lifeguard is floating in front of him, feet looking like they're touching the ground through the water. Something changes in the lifeguard's expression; he had seemed guileless and content beforehand but now there's a shine in his eyes that wasn't really there before. He puts both hands on either side of Ryan, who looks down. As a first-person video, it's easy to hear the subtle change in the way he's breathing. He looks at the lifeguard's face, focused on his eyes, and neither of them say anything.

Then, the shine in the other's eyes fades and the comfortable, familiar look returns, and the lifeguard laughs, "College is going to be good for you, man, you'll get away from all this for a while." Pushes away.

Ryan laughs, uncomfortable, and makes an excuse to leave the pool. On the way in to the Lava Springs resort, he glances in a mirror - his reflection is of soaking hair and worried eyes. Down the hall, Sharpay shouts, "RYAN!"

Ryan takes a deep breath, visible in the reflection, then rolls his eyes and seems to forget about being worried, looking down the hall before the video goes to static.]

((OOC: None of this is actual canon; it's headcanon that I have based on HSM2. :> Have you noticed that nearly no Disney movies actually take place in college it is SO WEIRD. It's like going to college triggers anti-Disney hormones or something. Crazy.

YOU GUYS MIGHT WANT TO POINT OUT WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH HIM BECAUSE I DON'T THINK HE KNOWS.))

...did you like him?

[identity profile] stripping.livejournal.com 2010-03-08 12:02 am (UTC)(link)
No, I mean did you like him, like him.

[identity profile] stripping.livejournal.com 2010-03-08 12:13 am (UTC)(link)
Were you romantically interested in him?

[identity profile] stripping.livejournal.com 2010-03-08 12:29 am (UTC)(link)
You could be attracted to men and still talk to girls. I talk to girls.

[identity profile] stripping.livejournal.com 2010-03-08 12:39 am (UTC)(link)
Because they are very similar in most aspects.

[identity profile] stripping.livejournal.com 2010-03-08 12:44 am (UTC)(link)
Still, that has nothing to do with whether it's okay to like men. Which it is.

[identity profile] stripping.livejournal.com 2010-03-08 12:49 am (UTC)(link)
Are you certain it wouldn't be alright?

[identity profile] stripping.livejournal.com 2010-03-08 01:04 am (UTC)(link)
If you insist.

Wow, that was kinda tense there for a second...

It's like a TV drama or something!
