[So here's Ryan Evans out by the pool at Lava Springs, smugly curious as to how, exactly, this guy "Sora" is planning on proving him wrong when he's... well, right. And he knows he's the one who's right because there's no such thing as other planets and there's definitely no such thing as UFOs made out of candy, and most importantly, the guy said he was friends with Disney characters.

Yeah, right. He'll just wait a few hours, go back online and probably just act like the deal had never been made. There's no reason to be mean about the other's delusions, right?]

[Ryan keeps his smug little expression on for about twelve seconds after he sees the spaceship coming in for a landing; then his expression turns to one of horror.

No. Way.

When Sora steps out Ryan scrambles back, falling off the chaise and onto the hard, unforgiving cement.

He tries to form some kind of coherent sentence because it's a spaceman he's being talked to by, but all he can do is squeak. Sorry, Sora.]

[And poor Sora is blinking and looking extremely confused at this point. Didn't Ryan want proof that the community and the people on it were real? Weird, maybe he'd get over the shock in a few minutes.

He's looking kind of sheepish now, unsure of whether to approach Ryan or not. He doesn't want to scare him, but he doesn't exactly want to just... stand there forever.]

...you okay? I won't hurt you, promise.

[Ryan's just going to stare at you for a few more minutes, Sora.

Finally, his brain kicks back into gear and he shakes his head hard, blinking up at Sora before scrambling to get back on his feet. Where'd all his poise and good manners go right there? (Oh, right, they ran away from the candy rocketship.)

[This is awkward. Like, "being with Kairi but not feeling happy about it" awkward. In a way, Sora's unsure of what to do himself.

Buuuut, seeing as Ryan's composed himself, at least for now- Sora's grinning again.]

Why wouldn't I? I said I had a Gummi Ship, and I do! I don't like lying.

Yeah but, you're not - [Sora's hair is extremely spikey. RYAN, FOCUS!] You're not supposed to have one because they don't exist. [It makes sense to Ryan, okay?]

Sure, maybe not on your world here, but at my place, it does! Yen Sid made it and King Mickey lets me fly it. [He's chuckling a bit, proud to have it but still not trying to act too out of hand about it. He's got a lot of other cool stuff too, Ryan. Wait and see.]

Yeah, it is! Don't try to eat it, though, I don't think Yen Sid would like that.

Okay, so, maybe - and this is a stretch but Ryan has to consider all options - maybe everyone had been telling the truth about these... worldhops and viruses and stuff. Maybe.]

...So, uh. [He coughs, tries to smile even though he's in shock still.] ...You're from another world.

[Sora nods, now Ryan's starting to get over it.] Yeah, but- I don't think my world's like a lot of others. Because in my world, there's... [And he counts in his head for a moment, trying to remember all the places he's been.] about twelve to fifteen separate worlds in that. There's a lot of things to do, and friends to see too!

I could always take you to Destiny Islands sometime, if you want. It'd be fun!

...Like a solar system? [Sure, try and rationalize it Ryan.] And, no offense but - [that ship of yours really doesn't look safe] - I'm not a good flier.

[Rubbing the back of his head almost sheepishly, Ryan makes an effort to circle a bit closer to get a better look at the ship. Huh. It sure did seem like it was straight out of some crazy Disney cartoon.] ...So you really know Mickey Mouse, then.

Something like that, yeah! [Sora tilts his head a bit, grinning all the while, and completely understanding what Ryan was saying.] That's okay, maybe you could visit sometime, and have someone else bring you!

Yeah, I do! King Mickey is really friendly, and he helps out with the worlds a lot.

...What, the - uh, the others don't use ships too? [What the heck did they do, then, teleport? That's just not right.]

I'm... not surprised. Here he's... well, he's a mascot and he's kind of like, the best one ever. [Who else had a monopoly like Mickey?]

Really? [Sora blinks, but he's grinning again. This was great, other people knew King Mickey and they liked him too!] That's awesome, I know he'd appreciate it.

Magic. [Well, okay, Ryan? Seriously. If there are ships made out of gummibears and if Mickey Mouse is a king somewhere? What's so hard about believing in magic? Fantasia, dude, remember?] O-Okay. Yeah, I can take that.

...So does he still look, uh, like a mouse? Big black ears, big gloves, red pants? [HEY, HE'S TRYING OKAY.]

[Well, at least he's trying!] Don't worry, you'll get used to magic and stuff in no time!

Yeah, he's definitely got the ears and the gloves, but I know he's got a bunch of different outfits. When he was trying to learn information on Organization XIII, he wore their outfit, but most of the time he wears casual kind of stuff. Liiiike- [And Sora pauses, trying to think or find an example to use. Finally, he points to himself, referencing his outfit.] Something like this.

When Sora gestures to his own outfit, Ryan finally gets to take in that... excitingly themed fashion. He barely resists making a face.] And, uh. That's normal for you?
