"Well, maybe not need... but it helps. So you don't feel miserable. That's why people go see sad movies sometimes, or cry when they're feeling really overwhelmed, even if it's not a sad thing. I used to cry when I got stressed a lot, but then I learned how to manage my time better so I wouldn't get all blotchy every time I had three papers due in a week."
